The PCE-PQC 1xUS series dust monitors are designed to measure the concentration of various particles in the air, including dust, soot, pollens, and various aerosols. Developed with precision, these particle counters play a crucial role in accurately assessing air pollution levels. Pollution, often imperceptible to the naked eye, primarily stems from sources such as combustion, material processing, manufacturing, power generation, vehicle engine emissions, and the construction industry.

Within the PCE-PQC 1xUS series, these dust monitors enable users to quantify the exact amount of particulate matter present in the air. Of secondary significance is the assessment of air pollution concerning pathogenic particles like soot, commonly emitted by heavy industry and diesel vehicles lacking specialized air filtering. Such dispersion particles are implicated in respiratory issues, including shortness of breath, bronchitis, asthma, and more severe conditions such as stroke and heart attack, ultimately impacting labor productivity.

The particle counters within the PCE-PQC 1xUS series operate in various modes, including real-time, cumulative, differential, and mass concentration. The results are displayed on the unit's screen, offering the capability to graph trends and remotely save data for comprehensive monitoring and analysis.
