The PCE-ATP 1-KIT with 100 swabs included is used to quickly and easily check the cleanliness of surfaces. The ATP Tester displays a measurement result on the large LC display after only 10 seconds. The ATP Tester's internal memory stores up to 10,000 measured data sets with time and date.
The PCE-ATP 1 with the associated PCE-ATP SwapPens, allows a quick detection of food or microbiological residues on all surfaces in contact with the product as an effectiveness test of cleaning and disinfection measures. Quantitative determination of intracellular and extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is performed in the portable PCE-ATP 1. The measured data from the ATP Tester can be stored and further processed after the measurement. The ATP Tester is used in the hygiene control in pharmacy, medicine, gastronomy, wholesalers and more.
Basic operation
Use PCE-ATP SWAB (sold separately - see accessories) to take a sample of the surface to be tested. Press the swab all the way down into the tube, so the swab comes into contact with the reaction liquid and reagent. Gently shake the tube to ensure the sample is fully covered. Insert the whole test tube into the measuring chamber of the PCE-ATP 1 testing device. After 10 seconds, the measurement results are shown in relative light units (RLUs) on the device display.
