The PCE-AS1 serves as an air sampling meter, specifically designed to evaluate microbiological pollution and monitor hygiene levels. This air sampler complies with the latest standards for devices employed in airborne microbial analysis. Additionally, an optional ISO calibration lab certificate is available as an accessory.
Employing the aerosol impaction principle or Andersen collision principle, the PCE-AS1 air sampler utilizes a meticulous approach to assess air quality. The instrument draws in air at its top, passing it through 300 micropores, generating a resulting laminar air flow directed onto the surface of an agar petri dish. After the sampling cycle concludes, the petri dish is removed and subjected to incubation. Subsequent bacterial and fungal counts align with guidelines such as USP 797 and CAG-009, facilitating a comprehensive assessment of air quality.
