The Tramex Building Survey Inspection Kit is a comprehensive solution for moisture and humidity inspections across a wide range of materials, including drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates, roofing, and air spaces.

Central to the kit is the Moisture Encounter MEX5 moisture meter, which accurately measures moisture content in wood and drywall while offering comparative readings for various building materials. The MEX5 is equipped with advanced features, including a built-in hygrometer for assessing ambient conditions and psychrometric values, an infrared surface thermometer, and compatibility with external probes. These include an RH probe for in-situ equilibrium RH readings and hand-held or hammer-action pin probes for wood, drywall, and WME assessments. Additionally, the kit includes insulated 200mm (7.8") pins and a narrow 260mm (10") RH probe for deep wall cavity and insulation evaluations.

With Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App, users can enhance their inspections by visualizing readings, creating moisture maps, and generating detailed data reports directly on mobile devices. The app also supports GeoTagging of test results, saving and sharing photos, reports, and charts, and enables remote viewing of the meter screen for accessing hard-to-reach areas.

The Tramex Building Survey Inspection Kit includes an extension handle for added versatility and is housed in a robust, heavy-duty carrying case with precision die-cut foam lining to ensure protection and portability.
