State Law — 2010 Kentucky Acts, Ch. 89 law directs the Kentucky Department of Law to establish minimum standards for mold remediation companies that are based on the general mold remediation principles set forth by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). It establishes that the state may take civil action against mold remediation companies that violate the law’s provisions.
MICRO’s Certified Mold Remediation Contractor (CMRC) certification follows the IICRC S520 Standard and R520 Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation as required by the Kentucky Department of Law.
